SURVIVAL / ENTITIES

Entities & hiding preparation

The current official description lists four entities but names only The Locust and The Hollow. Prepare around the documented footsteps, voice and hiding rules, without assuming an unpublished speed, health or detection-radius table.

Recognize the confirmed names

  • The Locust appears in the official description and CCTV-style promotional art set at a stairwell. Its hearing-themed slogan supports the emphasis on sound, but does not quantify detection or establish a separate passive ability.
  • The Hollow appears in the official description and art showing a long-limbed, bright-eyed creature among office furniture. The older art says “1 of 3 entities”; the current description lists four.
  • The remaining two: the total of four is official, but a complete current set of names was not available in the official material checked for this guide. Unlabelled artwork is not enough to identify them.

Sound and hiding decisions

The developer warns that the entity hears footsteps and voice. Reduce unnecessary noise near danger, avoid discussing your hiding place over an enabled mic, and decide how you will leave before entering a hiding spot.

A community hiding guide for version 1.3 reports that vent covers need a screwdriver and that barricading uses a kit priced at 200 coins in the lobby shop. Plan for those prerequisites, then check the current prompt and price. The same guide reports entities opening lockers and forcing doors; hiding should give you a chance to reposition, rather than a promise of permanent safety. Whether an entity can enter a vent remains unresolved in that report.

Earlier PC images show a MIC indicator and E — Leave closet. The indicator does not measure exactly when another player hears you. The official voice warning and Roblox's “Voice Chat Not Supported” listing also differ in scope, so check the indicators and settings available to your actual account and device.

If you are spotted

Use familiar cover and keep an alternative route in mind where possible. Be willing to give up a pickup when its weight prevents a safe retreat. These tactics follow from the game's documented movement and sound trade-off; they do not guarantee an AI reset or an invisibility timer.

The entity can be player-controlled. A human hunter may respond to the route you keep using, so do not assume every encounter follows the same fixed pattern.

What about The Rictus and Wendell?

Rictus is a name players are looking for, but a verified appearance, ability or stat sheet was not found in the official material checked on October 18, 2026. It has not been established here which creature the name identifies or whether it is one of the current four.

Wendell is another community-reported name with unresolved identity in the material checked. Treat either name as unconfirmed until it can be connected to the current game, rather than borrowing stats or pictures from an unrelated character.

Can I play as the monster?

Yes. The official description and promotional art advertise playing as the entity and hunting other players. They do not explain role-selection odds, unlock requirements or a universal number of entities per match. Do not plan a purchase around an unverified probability.

The names and current count come from the official game description; the control examples come from earlier community images. The hiding prerequisites are historical community reports, not a claim of a current playtest.
